The Schools Camanachd Association is the national governing body for school shinty in Scotland. The Association exists to foster in school shinty throughout Scotland, mainly by organising competitions for Primary and Secondary schools. We are affiliated to the Camanachd Association, the national governing body for shinty, although we do not receive any funding support from them.

Our competitions are played under Camanachd Association rules. All SCA office bearers are volunteers, as are all school coaches. Membership of SCA is open to all Scottish schools.
